Wat Hin Mak Peng
The word Mak Peng is an Isan language, meaning fruit or anything that is a fruit. Luang Pu Thet Thetsarangi, a disciple of Phra Ajahn Sao and Phra Ajahn Man, a noble monk of the Vipassana meditation sect, was the one who established Wat Hin Mak Peng as a place for monks, nuns, and pilgrims to practice Dhamma. In addition, the area around Wat Hin Mak Peng is quiet and shady because there are many kinds of trees, and it is also located along the Mekong River.
