Than Thip Waterfall

Than Thip Waterfall is a waterfall with 3 large levels. The first level is about 20 meters high, the second level is about 30 meters high, and the third level is about 50 meters high. Because the waterfall is not far from the community and has convenient transportation access, during the tourist season there are a lot of tourists visiting the waterfall, especially during holidays.

Than Thip Waterfall is open for tourists from 1 May - 28 or 29 February and closed (to restore resources) from 1 March - 30 April of every year. Than Thip Waterfall is not a very high waterfall but is beautiful and has water flowing all year round. The area of Than Thip Waterfall has been designated as Than Thip Waterfall Forest Park. The distance to walk from the starting point to the end is only 500 meters. But the most beautiful level of the waterfall and where tourists like to come to play in the water is the 2nd level which is not too far to walk and has a pool area where you can play in the water.

Than Thong Waterfall

In addition to Tan Thong Waterfall, Tan Thong National Park is also full of lush forests, both dry evergreen forests and mixed deciduous forests. There are prominent species of trees such as the Indian laburnum, the Indian laburnum, the Indian laburnum, the Indian laburnum, and bamboo groves. During the rainy season, the atmosphere is very shady. The trees and grass turn green.

Than Thong Waterfall also has clear, cool water flowing all the time, making it a popular place for relaxation for the people of Nong Khai. People come to see nature and play in the water throughout the tourist season. Before going down to the waterfall, there are shops selling agricultural products that open every holiday. There are also restaurants where tourists can eat before going down to play in the waterfall because food is not allowed to be brought down to eat in the waterfall area.

Phu Pha Dak

Phu Pha Dak is a beautiful viewpoint in Nong Khai Province. You can see the sea of fog very beautifully. It is also the highest point to see the sea of fog. It has a slope of more than 50-80 degrees and is about 800 meters long. It will take about 45 minutes to walk there. Most importantly, you must have a local villager to guide you because this path is all about the forest.

If you are not familiar with the path, you may get lost. And of course, you must be physically ready for the journey because the path is quite rough and not smooth and easy to walk. But when you get to the top, the view you will see is the sea of fog along the Mekong River. The fog and the water come together in a beautiful picture that is hard to forget. Especially in the morning, you can see the sunlight shining down on the white sea of fog.

Phu Hauy Esan

From the viewpoint of Phu Hauy Esan, you will see the Mekong River flowing along the mountain range. When the sun rises, the image in front of you is as beautiful as a dream. It is recommended to check in at Phu Huai Isan in the early morning. Plan to arrive at the viewpoint during sunrise because that is the beautiful highlight. The golden light of the sun will shine down on the beautiful sea of mist. At that moment, for those who want to change their profile picture to a green and natural feel, just stand still and take a photo against the light.

The e-tan is considered another highlight of Phu Huai Isan. There are 2 viewpoints on Phu Huai Isan. The first point is where the e-tan will stop to drop off tourists. There is a viewing platform protruding. There is a beautiful name sign or photo spot. There is also a small shop for those who want to find something to eat. Whether it's coffee, Ovaltine, or Mama Cup, it's a different kind of coffee with a view. The second spot is a little higher. Walk up another 200 meters. It is a popular viewpoint where tourists usually come to watch the sunrise. For photographers, do not miss taking pictures at this great location. It's a natural beauty that doesn't need any filters.

Moreover, the view is from a high angle, seeing both Thailand and Laos more than 360 degrees. Moreover, the top of Phu Lon is also cool and comfortable. It is also considered a very important archaeological site because on the mountain there are traces of ancient copper mining about 4,000 years ago.
